The 2nd MOVE Symposium, organized by the European National Societies for Extracellular Vesicles, is currently underway in Belgrade, featuring dynamic sessions on the latest breakthroughs in extracellular vesicle (EV) research, alongside insightful poster presentations from experts. The Immunomics Lab is actively participating in and benefiting from this prestigious event.
Prof. Annalisa Chiocchetti delivered a compelling talk on “Elevated GLAST+ and Proteoglycan-4+ Extracellular Vesicles, with Proteoglycan-4+ Linked to Cognitive Protection in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.”, presenting latest findings of the AGING project in collaboration with the Prof. Letizia Mazzini ‘s team.
Meanwhile, Fabiola Stolfi presented her research on “Characterization of Circulating Extracellular Vesicles in Patients with Major Depressive Disorder: Are They Good Biomarkers of Severity and Response to Therapy?”—disseminating the latest findings from the Microvesicles at the INtersection between Dysbiosis and Major dEpression disorder: an OMIC approach (MIND-ME) project, funded by Cariplo (2019-3277). Additionally, Chiara Venegoni’s abstract was selected for a poster presentation, highlighting the role of bacterial EVs derived from the gut microbiota in Major Depressive Disorder.
